How might we create a manipulable play space that allows for the varying levels of play and encourages challenging play?
Early user testing identified ergonomic needs and determined initial dimensions. Exploring materials suitable for children and outdoor activities started with a trip to Decathlon, followed by visits to foam factories to explore specific materials and fabrication techniques. Cardboard models helped identify hole positioning, shape, proportion, and sizing. The last user testing round further validated ergonomic requirements.
